# Pace vs True Pace

The clearest difference is ads: True Pace at none against Pace's shown. True Pace also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Pace's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (386 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and True Pace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pace holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pace has 386 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Pace's written reviews are positive against 100% of True Pace's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pace ships an update every 6 weeks, True Pace every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
