# Pace vs 6AM Run

The clearest difference is ads: 6AM Run at none against Pace's shown. 6AM Run also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). Pace's advantage is ratings volume (386 vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 6AM Run sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

6AM Run holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pace has 386 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pace ships an update every 6 weeks, 6AM Run every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
