# Notes Tutor vs Notaforte

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Notaforte at 495 against Notes Tutor's 1. Notes Tutor's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Tutor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notaforte sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Notes Tutor against 4.9 for Notaforte. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notaforte has 495 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
