# LoaMoa vs Canon+

The clearest difference is monetization model: LoaMoa at free with in-app purchases against Canon+'s subscription. LoaMoa also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). Canon+'s advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LoaMoa sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Canon+ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for LoaMoa against 4.9 for Canon+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canon+ has 3.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LoaMoa ships an update every 9 days, Canon+ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
