# TomatoFlex vs Xproguard Password Manager

The clearest difference is price: Xproguard Password Manager at Free against TomatoFlex's $0.99. Xproguard Password Manager also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%). TomatoFlex's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Xproguard Password Manager is free to download; TomatoFlex costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TomatoFlex holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TomatoFlex has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of TomatoFlex's written reviews are positive against 100% of Xproguard Password Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TomatoFlex ships an update every 2 months, Xproguard Password Manager every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
