# TomatoFlex vs Quadrix

The clearest difference is rating: Quadrix at 5.0 against TomatoFlex's 4.2. Quadrix also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). TomatoFlex's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TomatoFlex sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Quadrix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quadrix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TomatoFlex has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TomatoFlex ships an update every 2 months, Quadrix fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
