# ElectricNOW vs InstaFlix

The clearest difference is rating: ElectricNOW at 4.8 against InstaFlix's 3.9. ElectricNOW also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (996 vs 18). InstaFlix's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElectricNOW sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and InstaFlix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ElectricNOW holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ElectricNOW has 996 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of ElectricNOW's written reviews are positive against 64% of InstaFlix's.

ElectricNOW ships an update every 2 months, InstaFlix every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
