# Fitbanx vs BaseBlocks+

The clearest difference is rating: BaseBlocks+ at 4.9 against Fitbanx's 4.5. BaseBlocks+ also leads on ratings volume (81 vs 25). Fitbanx's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fitbanx sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BaseBlocks+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BaseBlocks+ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 81 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Fitbanx's written reviews are positive against 82% of BaseBlocks+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fitbanx ships an update every 2 weeks, BaseBlocks+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
