# GDMS vs TP

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TP at 386 against GDMS's 7. TP also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). GDMS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TP holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TP has 386 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of GDMS's written reviews are positive against 64% of TP's.

GDMS ships an update every 3 months, TP monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
