# Postablur vs Ultraviolet Chat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Postablur at 100% against Ultraviolet Chat's 62%. Postablur also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Ultraviolet Chat's advantage is ratings volume (712 vs 11) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Postablur sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Ultraviolet Chat sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Postablur holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultraviolet Chat has 712 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Postablur's written reviews are positive against 62% of Ultraviolet Chat's.

Postablur ships an update every 2 months, Ultraviolet Chat every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
