# Hohem Pro vs StaCam

The clearest difference is rating: StaCam at 2.9 against Hohem Pro's 1.7. Hohem Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StaCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Hohem Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

StaCam holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 34 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Hohem Pro's written reviews are positive against 10% of StaCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hohem Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, StaCam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
