# elspet vs Instachew Infinity

The clearest difference is rating: elspet at 4.6 against Instachew Infinity's 2.6. elspet also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 290). Instachew Infinity's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 16 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

elspet holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: elspet has 2K ratings behind it against 290, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of elspet's written reviews are positive against 45% of Instachew Infinity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

elspet ships an update every 16 months, Instachew Infinity every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
