# Megaformer vs PlankHaus

The clearest difference is ads: PlankHaus at none against Megaformer's shown. PlankHaus also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Megaformer's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (305 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Megaformer against 5.0 for PlankHaus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Megaformer has 305 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
