# ParPoints Golf vs Shot Pattern

ParPoints Golf and Shot Pattern both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ParPoints Golf's written reviews are positive against 67% of Shot Pattern's. ParPoints Golf also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Shot Pattern's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 48). Both are free to download. ParPoints Golf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
