# Areb vs JecLink

The clearest difference is update cadence: JecLink at every 2 months against Areb's every 12 months. JecLink also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Areb ships an update every 12 months, JecLink every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
