# Pocket Prep IT & Cybersecurity vs CertFlash

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pocket Prep IT & Cybersecurity at 5K against CertFlash's 3. CertFlash's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Prep IT & Cybersecurity sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $20.99 per month and CertFlash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CertFlash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pocket Prep IT & Cybersecurity has 5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pocket Prep IT & Cybersecurity ships an update every 3 weeks, CertFlash every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
