# CompTIA Network+ Exam Training vs Packet Hunter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Packet Hunter at none against CompTIA Network+ Exam Training's 5. Packet Hunter also leads on ads (none vs shown). CompTIA Network+ Exam Training's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 18) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CompTIA Network+ Exam Training sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Packet Hunter asks for nothing beyond the download.

CompTIA Network+ Exam Training holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CompTIA Network+ Exam Training has 1.3K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of CompTIA Network+ Exam Training's written reviews are positive against 79% of Packet Hunter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
