# Stereo vs Wildr

Stereo and Wildr both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Wildr's written reviews are positive against 46% of Stereo's. Wildr also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Stereo's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 67). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Stereo against 4.5 for Wildr. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stereo has 10K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of Stereo's written reviews are positive against 93% of Wildr's.

Stereo ships an update every 11 days, Wildr every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
