# Focus Pennsylvania vs DCCC Engage

The clearest difference is rating: DCCC Engage at 3.0 against Focus Pennsylvania's 1.8. DCCC Engage also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 31 months). Focus Pennsylvania's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and ratings volume (24 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DCCC Engage holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Pennsylvania has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Focus Pennsylvania's written reviews are positive against 50% of DCCC Engage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focus Pennsylvania ships an update every 31 months, DCCC Engage every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
