# LongShot vs ScrollShot

The clearest difference is rating: ScrollShot at 5.0 against LongShot's 4.7. ScrollShot also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). LongShot's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LongShot sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and ScrollShot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollShot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LongShot has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LongShot ships an update every 3 weeks, ScrollShot weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
