# VPN Fast vs Goose VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Goose VPN at 98% against VPN Fast's 32%. VPN Fast's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Fast sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Goose VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fast holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Fast has 150 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of VPN Fast's written reviews are positive against 98% of Goose VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Fast ships an update every 5 weeks, Goose VPN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
