# Kody Remote vs Anime Tracker

The clearest difference is price: Anime Tracker at Free against Kody Remote's $1.99. Anime Tracker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Kody Remote's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (14 vs 2). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Anime Tracker is free to download; Kody Remote costs $1.99 up front. Kody Remote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Anime Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anime Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kody Remote has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kody Remote ships an update fortnightly, Anime Tracker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
