# Square On Top vs Coloray

The clearest difference is update cadence: Coloray at every 3 weeks against Square On Top's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Square On Top sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Coloray sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Square On Top ships an update every 3 months, Coloray every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
