# NASP® Portal vs USSSA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NASP® Portal at 93% against USSSA's 64%. USSSA's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 37) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USSSA holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USSSA has 32K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of NASP® Portal's written reviews are positive against 64% of USSSA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NASP® Portal ships an update monthly, USSSA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
