# EMT vs EMT B Prep

The clearest difference is ads: EMT B Prep at none against EMT's shown. EMT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (942 vs 16). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EMT sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and EMT B Prep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for EMT against 4.9 for EMT B Prep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMT has 942 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EMT ships an update every 2 months, EMT B Prep every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
