RideMate is carpooling for college students in Florida. Find a verified student driving your way, book a seat in a few taps and split the cost of the ride. Going home for the weekend, back for a break or to another campus? Search rides from your school. ONLY VERIFIED STUDENTS Everyone signs up with their school email and adds a student ID. We check it before anyone books or drives. Drivers also add a valid driver's license and an insured car. FIND A RIDE - Search by where you leave from, where you're going and the date - See the driver, their school, car, ratings and seats left - See the break calendar and how many rides each day has - See when a seat costs less than the bus, on average - Big suitcase? Filter for rides that fit one - No ride yet? Tap Notify Me: you get an alert when one is posted BOOK YOUR SEAT - Pay with Apple Pay or a card - Some rides book instantly. On others you request a seat and pay only once the driver accepts - See your free-cancel time before you book - Clear cancellation policy. If your driver cancels, you get everything back CHAT BEFORE PICKUP Message your driver in the app to agree on pickup. Your phone number stays private. RATE EACH OTHER After the ride, drivers and riders rate each other. You see a review only after you've both rated, or after 14 days, so reviews stay honest. DRIVING ANYWAY? POST YOUR RIDE - Set your route, time and seats, or post the same ride for several dates - Choose instant book, or approve each rider first - See riders' requests on your route - See how many students want your route, and get a price hint - Get paid out to your bank through Stripe after the ride SAFETY TOOLS Send your trip link to family every time you book, so they can follow your ride. Report or block anyone from their profile or chat. In an emergency, call 911 first. RideMate is cost-sharing between students, not a taxi or rideshare company. Seat prices are capped at a share of the ride's cost. For students 18+ at supported Florida colleges and universities. US only. Distances in miles. Questions? Visit ridemate.ai
