# Best Wallpapers 4K vs QR Mapper

The clearest difference is rating: QR Mapper at 5.0 against Best Wallpapers 4K's 4.4. QR Mapper also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Best Wallpapers 4K's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Best Wallpapers 4K sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and QR Mapper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QR Mapper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Best Wallpapers 4K has 3.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Best Wallpapers 4K ships an update fortnightly, QR Mapper every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
