# HomePro Security vs MyHighland

The clearest difference is rating: MyHighland at 5.0 against HomePro Security's 2.7. HomePro Security's advantage is ratings volume (210 vs 2) and review sentiment (22% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyHighland holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomePro Security has 210 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of HomePro Security's written reviews are positive against 0% of MyHighland's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
