# Talent Book vs Model Mayhem

The clearest difference is rating: Talent Book at 5.0 against Model Mayhem's 1.6. Talent Book also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Model Mayhem's advantage is ratings volume (76 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talent Book sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Model Mayhem sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talent Book holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Model Mayhem has 76 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Talent Book's written reviews are positive against 3% of Model Mayhem's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talent Book ships an update every 3 weeks, Model Mayhem every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
