# Explicit Gesture vs Touchless Browser

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Explicit Gesture at none against Touchless Browser's 4. Explicit Gesture also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.6). Touchless Browser's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 7 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Touchless Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Explicit Gesture asks for nothing beyond the download.

Explicit Gesture holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Explicit Gesture's written reviews are positive against 100% of Touchless Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Explicit Gesture ships an update every 7 months, Touchless Browser every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
