# Instant Prompter vs Floating Notes Teleprompter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Floating Notes Teleprompter at 100% against Instant Prompter's 50%. Instant Prompter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Instant Prompter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Floating Notes Teleprompter sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Instant Prompter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Prompter has 100 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Instant Prompter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Floating Notes Teleprompter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Instant Prompter ships an update weekly, Floating Notes Teleprompter every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
