# Instant Prompter vs MagicList+

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Instant Prompter at 101 against MagicList+'s 1. Instant Prompter also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). MagicList+'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Instant Prompter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MagicList+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MagicList+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Prompter has 101 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Instant Prompter ships an update weekly, MagicList+ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
