# AntScope vs OpenIntent

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenIntent at every 2 weeks against AntScope's every 3 months. AntScope's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AntScope ships an update every 3 months, OpenIntent every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
