# V vs Dietbux

The clearest difference is rating: V at 4.9 against Dietbux's 3.7. V also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 26) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). Dietbux's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

V holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V has 10K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of V's written reviews are positive against 50% of Dietbux's.

V ships an update every 4 weeks, Dietbux every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
