# V vs Crazy Chicken

The clearest difference is ads: Crazy Chicken at none against V's shown. Crazy Chicken also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). V's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (10K vs 162). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

V holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V has 10K ratings behind it against 162, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of V's written reviews are positive against 67% of Crazy Chicken's.

V ships an update every 4 weeks, Crazy Chicken every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
