# Kidstream vs Blueberry Fun

The clearest difference is rating: Kidstream at 4.8 against Blueberry Fun's 3.0. Kidstream also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 2). Blueberry Fun's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kidstream sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Blueberry Fun sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kidstream holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kidstream has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Kidstream's written reviews are positive against 100% of Blueberry Fun's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kidstream ships an update every 3 months, Blueberry Fun every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
