# Planbook Mobile vs Discover Dairy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Discover Dairy at 88% against Planbook Mobile's 51%. Discover Dairy also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Planbook Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (7.7K vs 41) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planbook Mobile sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Discover Dairy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Planbook Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planbook Mobile has 7.7K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Planbook Mobile's written reviews are positive against 88% of Discover Dairy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
