# Subscription Tracker vs Subscriptions

The clearest difference is rating: Subscription Tracker at 4.6 against Subscriptions's 4.1. Subscription Tracker also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (258 vs 65). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subscription Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Subscriptions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subscription Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 258 and 65 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Subscription Tracker's written reviews are positive against 89% of Subscriptions's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Subscription Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Subscriptions every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
