# Kick King vs Rooftop Ninja Run

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rooftop Ninja Run at none against Kick King's 4. Rooftop Ninja Run also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 34). Kick King's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 13 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kick King sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Rooftop Ninja Run asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rooftop Ninja Run holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rooftop Ninja Run has 2.3K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Kick King's written reviews are positive against 75% of Rooftop Ninja Run's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kick King ships an update every 2 days, Rooftop Ninja Run every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
