# Block Puzzle vs Sky Rolling

The clearest difference is rating: Sky Rolling at 5.0 against Block Puzzle's 4.5. Block Puzzle's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and ratings volume (35 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Puzzle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sky Rolling sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sky Rolling holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Puzzle has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Block Puzzle's written reviews are positive against 33% of Sky Rolling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
