# Inventory Shield vs Protimeter Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Inventory Shield at 100% against Protimeter Connect's 25%. Inventory Shield also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 1). Protimeter Connect's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Protimeter Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inventory Shield has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Inventory Shield's written reviews are positive against 25% of Protimeter Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Inventory Shield ships an update every 3 weeks, Protimeter Connect monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
