# CamTrackAR vs ProductionCrate

The clearest difference is rating: CamTrackAR at 4.5 against ProductionCrate's 3.9. CamTrackAR also leads on iOS requirement (13.2 vs 17.0). ProductionCrate's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CamTrackAR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ProductionCrate sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CamTrackAR holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 392 and 312 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of CamTrackAR's written reviews are positive against 59% of ProductionCrate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CamTrackAR ships an update every 3 months, ProductionCrate monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
