# cosmic comic maker vs Stickman

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stickman at every 2 months against cosmic comic maker's every 16 months. Stickman also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (253 vs 18). cosmic comic maker's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. cosmic comic maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stickman sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stickman holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stickman has 253 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of cosmic comic maker's written reviews are positive against 40% of Stickman's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

cosmic comic maker ships an update every 16 months, Stickman every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
