# Trach vs StudyTorch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StudyTorch at none against Trach's 1. StudyTorch also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Trach's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trach sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StudyTorch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trach ships an update every 2 weeks, StudyTorch every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
