# AClock vs Flip Clock Digital Widgets

AClock and Flip Clock Digital Widgets both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of AClock's written reviews are positive against 33% of Flip Clock Digital Widgets's. AClock also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Flip Clock Digital Widgets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flip Clock Digital Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 54 and 55 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of AClock's written reviews are positive against 33% of Flip Clock Digital Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AClock ships an update every 2 months, Flip Clock Digital Widgets every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
