# Files Go vs PaperKit

The clearest difference is ads: PaperKit at none against Files Go's shown. Files Go's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Files Go sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PaperKit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Files Go ships an update every 10 days, PaperKit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
