# Arc Studio Screenwriting vs BitCache

The clearest difference is update cadence: BitCache at every 2 days against Arc Studio Screenwriting's every 3 weeks. Arc Studio Screenwriting's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arc Studio Screenwriting sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year and BitCache sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arc Studio Screenwriting ships an update every 3 weeks, BitCache every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
