# Tasks vs TaskXpress

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TaskXpress at 100% against Tasks's 63%. TaskXpress also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Tasks's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tasks sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. TaskXpress asks for nothing beyond the download.

TaskXpress holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasks has 1.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Tasks's written reviews are positive against 100% of TaskXpress's.

Tasks ships an update weekly, TaskXpress fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
