# Tasks vs Notepods

The clearest difference is rating: Notepods at 5.0 against Tasks's 4.6. Notepods also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Tasks's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 4) and device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tasks sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Notepods sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepods holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasks has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tasks ships an update weekly, Notepods every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
