# TranslateCam vs Fast Translate & Net Proxy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fast Translate & Net Proxy at none against TranslateCam's 4. TranslateCam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TranslateCam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Fast Translate & Net Proxy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fast Translate & Net Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TranslateCam has 1.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of TranslateCam's written reviews are positive against 0% of Fast Translate & Net Proxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TranslateCam ships an update every 4 days, Fast Translate & Net Proxy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
